I believe that forests shouldn't be a subject of industry control and be granted autonomy to conduct their own processes and cycles without heavy human intervention. I envision a world where forested ecosystems aren't seen as something humanity must control for economical benefits that probably result in a net loss anyway due to the increased intensity from fire suppression. To achieve such a task, people's ideas and attitudes towards forest fires would have to be changed. Information campaigns by the government or integration into basic science classes in schools may be a good start.

Love love love the idea of forest autonomy, this idea integrated with indigenous sovereignty efforts in Canada could do a lot of work towards reconciliation!
Hi Tyson! I agree with you that something as natural as forests should not be under industry control. It reminds me of 'The Lorax' movie where the forests were being depleted of their resources until there was too much damage and the forest could not grow back. Having more informational campaigns sounds like a great way to grow awareness of this issue!
I think that's a really good idea and something that is a really bold step when it comes down to it. I think long term this may be what needs to happen. It may be very difficult but for the future it really is something we will need to tackle and deal with.
This is a really interesting idea! I agree that humanity right now lay too much claim on on the lands: forests that have existed for millennium should not be subjected to the will of the industries. I'm interesting in asking you that, given the amount of intervention/pollution that humans have already contribute to the world, do you think there may be changes as to how we approach the forests? Should it be left alone to deal with the consequences of pollutions or should we actively try to mitigate and maintain "how it was before pollution" in these ecosystems?
Hi Tyson!
Interesting idea to spread the awareness of forest fires. It's very sad to know that even if humans completely gave up logging, we will still greatly affect forest fires through global climate change
I totally agree with you! The forests all have their own circulatory system, it's human intervention that causes it to be unbalanced. Nature should not be granted a price.
