I envision that water scarcity is no longer a problem. I believe that water is the most valuable but why is it that we often take the most valuable resources for granted? Each and every one of us relies on water. There’s no substitution for water. Period. So why are we not taking this matter seriously?
Water scarcity is REAL, by 2040 the majority of us will not have enough water for personal use. To combat this, action needs to be taken immediately. On a smaller scale, make it a habit in your daily routine that we need to turn off the fossil while brushing your teeth, take shorter showers, and check for leaky tubes.
On a more broader scale, we need to show support to companies conducting research management such as Majik Water or Sanivation to create greater changes in the future. This can be done through educating others on this matter to voice their concerns which creates a build up of selective pressure on our national government to adopt changes in water prices. Ultimately by establishing higher water prices, consumers will become aware of the importance of water. Creating awareness of the value of water can create so many differences but this needs to start now. We can all achieve this goal to create a better brighter blue world 💙
Hi Cindy, I appreciate your hopeful perspective but also urgent call to action. I think these are very good action items to both bring awareness and make real change with regards to water conservation.
Hi Cindy! I like how you mentioned we should show support to companies conducting research on this issue! I definitely agree that being aware and educating others on this issue is crucial to fixing this issue. Great post!
Great ideas! Educating others so they can voice their concerns in a way that causes pressure on the government would definitely be a way to help initiate greater action by the government.
I agree! Awareness and price increases could definitely lead us to diminish the wasteful act in regards to water.
Yes Cindy! I like that you highlight both small scale changes we can make and the broader changes we want to see from bigger groups. Amazing post :)
Hi Cindy! I love that you mentioned some companies to support who are doing great work for water management. I will definitely be looking into them.
This is a slay, when we think about recycling water or reducing our water usage, we blame companies for their overuse when it is important to support the companies who actually align with our values
Nice post! What you highlighted is so important.... there is no substitution to water! We definitely did learn about some cool water saving innovations.... how cool would it be to see them implemented in the society around us!
Completely agree! I think just the idea of running out of water scares me, that quite possibly in the near future, our kids and grandkids will have to fight for water. Countries going to war just to keep their citizens alive. If we don't do something now, this could very well be the end of civilization. So let's achieve this goal TOGETHER and create a big bright blue world :)
Great post! I think it is great that you are suggesting smaller scale interventions (like shorter showers) and larger scale ones (like supporting research companies). Together, these two elements have the potential to make serious impact.
