One of my biggest takeaways from this class is how enriching it is to incorporate curiosity into your life on a regular basis.
Exploring new topics with other curious people within this class has been such a bright part of one of my last terms at UBC; each week I walked away with a more nuanced understanding, more questions to ask, and an invigorated commitment to finding novel solutions to the wicked problems we face.
More than anything else, this class has encouraged me to keep asking questions, think big, and commit to having conversations with people from a variety of backgrounds. I will take what I learned during the hard conversations and use as I move forward, with the hope of continuing to grow as a well informed global citizen :)
from Dall E: "a painting showing curious people gathered to have a conversation to learn more about each other's interests"
Loved hanging with my girlboss megabrained sister this semester. Thank you for reminding me to shut up when the class heard enough of my opinion.
You have brought so much richness to our class discussions, Clare, thank you for sharing! A constant asking of questions is certainly a great way to investigate topics more thoroughly, that's something I'll also take away from this class.
Wow Clare! I love the AI image that you shared! This class has been such a great outlet for curiosity, growth and learning and I hope that more UBC students get to experience it!
I really like the Dall E post! I would agree with your point Clare. I think the ongoing discussions every week really helped me refine my ideas and get a sense of other perspectives. I think approaching issues in this way is more beneficial and successful in the long run.
Clare, I really love your point about curiosity! This class has taught and encouraged us to dig deep into our values and dream big on our vision for a sustainable future. A certain amount of curiosity about how the world works, and we can make it better is definitely needed to answer these big questions.
Hi Clare, our class motivate me to think critically in each aspects. While you ask questions everyclass with the knowledge you had, I am always attracted by you thought. Our class promote learning not only from our prof, TA but all of us.
I totally agree with how the topics of the class leave us curious and asking questions!
I love the painting you included, it really sums up our class!
