Using the example of Volkswagon and their avoidance and cheating of environmental law we should push for stronger laws and ensuring they are in place. I envision our governments should take more action in ensuring corporations are held accountable to the environmental laws that are in place.
If these companies don't abide by these environmental law we should have boycotts of these companies until their operations realign with environmental policies. This would be done to reduce their market share and have an impact to their bottom lines.
Hello Mathew! I agree that things such as boycotting a company can be useful in deterring them, as well as other companies, in using methods that go against environmental policies. I also liked that your post falls into the topic of justice and making sure that the companies that need to be held accountable are done so.
Hey! I also believe the government is a big part of bringing a change and making sure businesses do as well.
I agree that strict consequences such as boycotting are needed sometimes to make change.
