I value each individual's unique degree of effort and approach to support environmental collaborative change despite the cultural diversity, social norms, and economic restrictions around the world. I envision a world were people who want to make change can access safe and comfortable platforms with funding available to initiate projects and education so that social beliefs are standardized and interconnected everywhere. Genders, social-economical status, ethnicity,... will no longer be barriers to start making change. As one of Earth's citizen and I'm sure you are, too, I support EARTHDAY and appreciate moments when people across the globe share common values and take meaningful actions to contribute to a cleaner greener planet.

Hey, Curious Koala! Just wanted to touch on the concept of platforms, I personally believe it's crucial to provide accessible and safe platforms for aspiring changemakers to initiate projects and educational initiatives. Empowering people to share their unique perspectives and solutions fosters a sense of collective responsibility and interconnectedness. I hadn't heard of cosphere before, do you know of any other platforms targeted for these conversations?
I agree with your vision. Having a safe and funded platform is essential for social change of any sort. People need to know that their identity, safety and financial wellbeing are not at risk by participating in community events/projects for social change.
I think you really brought up some great points! I agree with you that many of the barriers to change are not just physical. Like you said, our perceptions of gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, etc. can largely divide us and thus limit the ways in which we move towards sustainable change. Fighting the climate crisis involves more than just planning initiatives and advocating for sustainability; it is also about putting our differences aside and uniting towards a common goal.
