I envision a world with most of the people being equally respectful and mindful of the intrinsic value as if they are of the instrumental value. It has come to my realization that it is normal to neglect intrinsic value because for sure we do prioritize our needs and focus on outcomes that benefit us. And I could not deny this mindset of us human beings. But if we were not this self-centered and could take moments to be inclusive of the natural world, it might be a more justifiable future. I value that justice is not something we take for granted in this world. Instead, I think it highly depends on the degree of our awareness and how much we are willing to put into advocacy for it. In the future, my suggestion for the interventions to reach this 'ideal future' is to embrace inclusiveness. It would be great if we could be less self-centered and be grateful for our motherland that we are stepping on right now. Appreciate the fact that we are provided with this beautiful landscape, and remind ourselves that this land is our nurturer. Now to the more practical stuff, I think we should try maintaining the raw characteristics of the natural world as best as possible. So that we can keep wildlife in their most natural way and protect them from being affected (good ways or bad ways) by human interventions. I think it would be a great head start.

Hi Jn, I agree with you that we should embrace inclusivity! One more thing I would add though, is that we should not only be embracing inclusivity for the Earth surrounding us, but also for other people as well, regardless of their gender, race, etc. If we are all working together to solve a common problem, then we must be willing to listen to each voice equally.
Hi Jn! Thank you for your insightful post, I completely agree on your stance on maintaining the raw characteristics of the natural world. And I really liked the image you had with your post it supported your post really well!
Hi Jn, I agree, the intrinsic value of nature needs to be given more significance. Nature, animals and humans are interwoven. We cannot survive without the other two, but the other two can survive without us...
This post is very well written and I completely agree that it is important that we act in a manor that protects the natural beauty around us. There is a problem with people being self-centered and not taking care of what is around us, and that mindset needs to change so we can create a long lasting future. Well done!
