I envision all stages of producing products will be green, from extraction, production, and disposition. Except that, I also hope that people do not buying products signaling their status, consuming earth’s finite resources. I will try to achieve this goal from myself. In the future, i will only buy things that I truly need. Fast fashion brands will not be in my lists anymore. Meanwhile, I will appeal to my families and friends to reduce the over consumption.#UnleashValues

I agree with you, and also I really like the plan for reducing the overconsumption. Because that is something everyone can start doing and it is practical.
I love your commitment to excluding fast fashion brands! I do this as well, and I have been using some of my hoodies for over 3 years.
We need to work together to end fast fashion! What does "fast fashion" achieve? NOTHING but destruction to our environment. We need to reuse our clothes, buy things that are ONLY necessary and educate others to do the same!
Hi Yaxi! Yes I agree - I wish buying luxury goods was not a symbol of status - it's really detrimental to our world and I also hope in the future that more and more of us will buy only the things we need for the better of our environment.
I like how you mention the different steps in making consumer goods (extraction, production, disposition). Many people forget that there are environmental tradeoffs where making one thing more green may make the other thing less green. We need to come up with ways in which we can minimize the tradeoffs and have the least environmental impact.
I like your post, it is very pragmatic. I totally agree with your actions, in this ways, not only do we reduce externalities to earth, we are also saving money for ourselves! in this way we could make more harmonious relationship with our friends and families!
totally agree with you Yaxi! We kinda have the same thought and I hate over comsumption like hell, but so far we don't have a solution.
Love your post!
I agree Yaxi! I also look forward to a day where we don't buy products just for status in exchange for the Earth's health :)
Wow yes, the idea that people don't buy products to signal status is part of my vision for the future as well. Imagine if a luxury lifestyle was no longer considered the goal of most people.
