Water is one of our body's most important resources to keep us living. Not only for humans but also very crucial for plants and animals. In our daily life, we can drink and use water anytime, anywhere. However, some underdeveloped countries do not have the perfect equipment to treat and purify water. They do not even have enough water to provide the factory to produce and purity the water. Many people are dying of the problem of lack of water in Africa.
My envision is that everyone in the world has the right and enough pure water to drink and try to reduce using the water in other areas if they can. If everyone tries to reduce water usage, a huge amount of water will be saved in one day. So we can use the water to do other necessary things. Moreover, we can try to invent some water recycling equipment to help to reduce the waste of water. Government should do some actions to increase the concept of enhancing people's protection of water resources.
We should take action right now, and we can't wait until we find out there isn't enough fresh water to drink.
I agree that raising public awareness for water saving and water recycling is the most effective way to protect water resources.
Yeah, I totally agree with you that people need to save water sources. this is so important since the planet own a lot of people. if each person can save 1 liter per day, it will be a huge volume of water saved.
I like how your posts states the urgency of the problem! Action now is needed because the more time we allow industries to dump toxic waste water into the world's watersheds, the more difficult it becomes to access clean water around the globe.
Hi Bolun!
Thanks for your insightful post! I also agree that we definitely take advantage of having easy access to water and we tend to forget that not everyone has that same luxury. And I like the point that you raised that if we all collectively tried to reduce our water usage, so much would be saved in one day! It is truly the collective efforts of individuals that will help make a difference!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I think many people who grew up in Canada didn't have to worry about water (because of our consistent cost of water) but we might have heard of the experiences of others in other countries with water bills that follow their trend of usage which often meant conserving water to save money. I think we have a lot to learn from them and a lot to learn from those who live in water scarcity.
Hi! I agree on your point of how every individual should be working right now to reduce the use of water. We tend to hold big corporations accountable, but individual action also counts!
