My vision is a future where companies invest in technology for water recycling because the outcome of it outweighs the initial financial cost. My values are that individuals and companies need motive to make a difference and that motive does not always have to be a reward, but can be fear of a disadvantage or penalization. There needs to be a change in legislation to encourage these companies to actually invest largely in these technologies which sometimes can cost the company a fortune. I believe The Extended Producer Responsibility legislation is a great starting point for my intervention since this rewards companies for not creating water waste and pollution. However, my intervention would be to turn this around and penalize companies that do not participate in preventing water pollution. The penalization would most likely have to be something financial such as taking more environmental tax since this is usually what hits the company the hardest. This may cause an uprise from the companies since they are stakeholders. However, it also motivates them to invest more in technology for water recycling, since in the long run, the financial cost of investing may be less than the financial loss due to penalization. This could be a leap towards substantial water recycling that could help millions on our planet.

Hello,
I also agree that without the benefit, the comapnies in charge would not consider recycling. I also think that forcing the companies is a better idea using policies and taxing.
Hi Ari, I completely agree with the fact that there needs to be a change in legislation to force these companies to invest. I don't see any other way for a company to want to spend a lot of money otherwise.
Hi Ari, I totally agree with idea, it is very hard to involve companies in water recycling purely due to responsibility, since most of them want to make a profit from any investment or action take, therefore, having rewards and penalties financially may be the most effective way. I also hope that more of our resources could dive into protect And recycle the water assets.
Thank you for sharing! I really like the idea of enforcing companies to invest in techology for water recycling and also penalizing those that do not prevent water pollution. I think this solution could benefit everyone in the long run and potentially reach other countries to help with water scarcity.
Great post Ari! I think you have outlined a very nice plan for implementing change :)
