I envision a world where individuals, not just whole agricultural systems, play a role in promoting healthy agricultural adaptation strategies. Intensive farming of foods such as avocados are known to cause biodiversity loss, deforestation and extensive soil degradation. Individuals should sway away from foods that cause such agricultural damage and increase the consumption of foods that promote the sustainability of agriculture. In order for individuals to take such actions to increase agricultural sustainability, we should be educated of the unsustainable practices of agriculture and informed of the negative consequences for our future generation. We should be educated on the actions we can take in order to slowly but surely save our future. It was only because of this class that I learned of how unsustainable our agricultural systems are today and I believe awareness is an important step in saving our agricultural systems. Individual action counts!

I agree educating people about sustainably is a great idea
Thanks for bringing up the point on intensive, unsustainable farming of certain foods that cause loss in biodiversity, I actually did not know that prior to your post. I agree that being educated is the first step individuals can take to increase agricultural sustainability.
I totally agree we should raise more awareness and educate people of unsustainable farming practices!!
Great post! I totally agree that education is a major part in change and action, as there are many people who are unaware of these issues at hand.
Hi Eunee, Thank you for sharing! I also think education plays a key role, by simply spreading the word on promoting healthy agricultural adaptation, we can determine other food alternates to use that do not have a negative conseuqence on our future.
I also agree that awareness is a huge step towards reaching our society's goal of sustainable agriculture and I'm glad you brought it up!
