ENVR 430 has been such an interesting and fun class and I really enjoyed the discussions we've had in class. I am excited to apply all the knowledge I received from this course to the real world and make more of a difference in the world. I enjoyed the final project and it felt good leading the workshop at the high school and to be able to teach high school students more about sustainable agriculture. My vision for ENVR 430 was to learn more about the environment and sustainability. I enjoyed learning during the lectures which involved lots of story-telling and visuals. The values and skills I am leaving the class with include as stronger passion to make the earth more sustainable and to educate my community about sustainability. The hard conversation assignments were really helpful and will help me in having these conversations within my community. I value sustainability, and the poser of education and awareness in initiating change. I envision a future where there are more efforts made in educating and raising awareness about climate change and the environmental crisis. This course has been a great experience and I encourage all UBC students to enroll in this course. I have told all my friends about this course and encouraged them all to enroll as well. Furthermore, I will educate my peers, friends, and family about sustainability and the environmental crisis and what actions they can take to live a more sustainable life. I am excited to take what I leaned and move forward in making a change for a more sustainable planet, unleashing the values learned from this course.

Hi Ravinder!
It's great that you feel this way about this course and that you told all of your friends about ENVR 430. I feel exactly the same way and I will push my friends to take this course because we truly learned more than just the environment, but our individual roles in this whole thing.
