Everyone's success and wealth are hard-earned, and those who are fortunate enough to be wealthy should do something for our society and bring more positive energy. However, through this time, I have learned that many rich people participate in tax loopholes and often use these donations to avoid taxes rather than the kind of their hearts and what they want to change. I also hope that donations from the wealthy should be used appropriately and for the greater purpose of helping our ecosystem. In addition, companies must follow a sustainable method that puts the environment first. Businesses need to value limited natural resources and reduce excessive waste and environmental damage.
I envision a world where every rich person cannot access taxes loopholes. This would result in significantly fewer wealthy people. I hope donations that can make a real difference in society. Since companies often choose to stand by or to escape environmental issues. So, laws and penalties are the most effective way to monitor their behaviour. Governments should conduct more frequent and detailed investigations of companies to prevent them from harming ecosystems and the environment.
Your point on the tax loopholes is great! I agree that the current tax laws often give many options for the rich to reduce their taxes, yet the poorer people are obliged to pay their dues because they simply cannot exercise the options available to the rich. As a starting point, closing these loopholes and implement more regulations to direct these donations/taxes towards sustainable investments would be one way to help combat the situation.
I agree, there should be stricter polices that companies must follow for sustainable methods in business.
I am sorry to know that billionaires use charity to influence public policy and divert public attention from their dubious business ethics and that charitable giving is transformed into a business model. I believe that money donated by philanthropists should be collected as taxes and spent in accordance with government priorities.
I also hope that the virtue in philantrophy is really what it meant to. I hope some people and business could divert their wisdom and effort in evading taxes or practise fraud to helpful changes to the society. If equality among everyone is hard to achieve, at least government should castigate people with previlege doing fictitous contributions.
