Hi Eman, I think the implementation of laws would certainly encourage the protection of water sources. What kind of laws would help to protect water? In addition, would these laws only protect from current anthropogenic water degradation or would it also encompass natural issues such as atmospheric dust introduction and past issues such as the introduction of invasive species like the carp?

Hi Eman! I loved reading your post! My question for you is what specific kind of law do you think needs to be implemented in order to protect water bodies and ecological degradtion? My thoughts lead to laws surrounding fishing and having stricter laws about commerical fishing.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you say that laws can go a long way towards protecting local water bodies and the ecosystems around us! One question I have, though, is how would you implement these laws? What points would you bring up to convince Parliament to pass your bills into laws? Or would you try and obtain a leadership position yourself to have direct say in which laws get implemented?
