Climate change and forest fires are interchangeably related. Forest fires promote new growth and I believe are somewhat essential to ecosystems. However, fires cause lot's of damage and produce the worst quality air. Humans both indirectly and directly contribute to climate change which leads to global temperatures rising and continued forest fires. I value our natural ecosystems and forests and want to contribute to sustain them. I envision a world where everyone is able to breathe in fresh air and not have to worry about toxins or harmful debris in the atmosphere due to fires. An intervention that I would propose is for the government to promote/create policies and restrictions regarding conservation, restoration and the initiation of forest fires. Another intervention could be hosting workshops/meetings on climate change and forest fire impacts in local communities. Furthermore, it is also very important to promote education and awareness about fire risks, prevention and management among individuals.

Hi Ravinder,
Are there any specific policies or restrictions you have in mind? I'd love to hear any ideas you have!!
Great points! I like your interventions a lot, and I think workshops for forest fire impacts and how to stay safe could be really effective. Maybe even an earlier warning system to inform people that a fire has occurred so that they can take measures to. protect themselves (I'm not sure if theere already is one, but I tend to find out about wildfires when I see the smoke in the sky).
I think education plays a key role in raising awareness on fire risks and air toxic! Some interventions could be hosting workshops on these topics at a local community.
Hello. Great post. I agree, we are living in a complex system and forest fires are interchangeably related to climate change.
