Dr. Elaine Ingham, Geoff Lawton, both have become aware that everything needs good food, good biodiversity, habitats, ecosystems and learning about permaculture. Refuse to use any chemicals whatsoever growing habitats, foods for insects, animals and people. Good soils that are healthy without chemicals, can grow far more quality foods, forests and wild lands. Without chemicals, our waters don't get leaching, our air quality goes up, and our nutrition is far better for all living things.

I am certainly not wealthy, which requires me to reconsider every purchase I make. I keep my phone for years, buy from the Habitat for Humanity Store, use what I have to make reusable face masks, buy "gently used" items, clothes, etc. I need to eat, that's a necessity. So I don't buy chemicals. That meant learning to grow food in containers, healthy food, which required learning about permaculture, worm composting indoors. (It does not smell). I use transit or my feet to travel. All of these changes are important to reduced kitchen scraps (worm compost), improve food using compost for good soil biology.

I'm a tenant, so I had to learn soil biology enough to know how to grow food with chemicals. Dr. Elaine Ingham, Geoff Lawton, and others show how to compost indoors using worms, that compost is rated as one of the best. Dr. Ingham has several videos on composting, soil biology, to enhance, restore biodiversity in the soils. Geoff Lawton and her both advocate permaculture techniques. Foods grown in nature while enhancing biodiversity.

I live in Surrey, the Agricultural Land Management is not managing the lands for food production, which was apparently the reason for them being reserved. Huge homes surrounded by a crop of nothing more than weeds is not agriculture. Surrey has been busy building solar ovens using condos all in a very tight area, which adds huge expenses to any buildings in the foreseeable future, air conditioning, poor air quality, noise pollution, and no public green spaces. City planning is apparently driven by land developers.

A consistent means of no-till farming without any chemicals would greatly enhance, restore biodiversity, and grow far healthier foods for plants, animals, all living things. Unfortunately this isn't likely to happen if chemical corporations continue to be the major players in government policy and farming practices. Dr. Elaine Ingham, sever soil biologists, Geoff Lawton who plans food production for the coming century using permaculture techniques, along with Gabe Brown using and teaching no-till farming, all are advocating for healthier soils, bett biodiversity, habitats, ecosystems and foods for soils up to everything on the planet. Why are we not teaching permaculture? It's the education people need to grow food. Why are we not learning about soil biology so our carbon is sequestered permanently?
